Mobile app development in Brussels

An app to simplify part of how your business works? I support you from mapping out the user journeys to development, with features and a scope defined together.

Describe what the app needs to do

Who will use the app? In what context? Which task should become simpler? Answering these questions helps separate the essential features from ideas that can wait.

An example journey, a few sketched screens or a description of how you currently work can serve as a starting point. You do not need a complete technical specification to present your idea.

Example of the principle, without interaction: choose an action, specify the request, then find it again. This is not a published client app; the screens and features of your project remain to be defined.

Choose the scope before the technology

The target platforms, the data processed, connections to services and operating constraints all need to be examined. The technical choice comes after this clarification.

Define a useful first version

In the illustrative journey shown above, the first version would make it possible to enter a request, send it and check its status. A user account, notifications or a connection to business software could then be considered if the need justifies it. These actions help specify the screens, data and checks required before release.

Together, we specify the target devices, how the app will be distributed, offline use and the services to connect. The proposal states what is covered and the delivery conditions.

Move forward in verifiable stages

We define the priority journeys, the screens and the acceptance criteria. Development and testing are then organised around the agreed scope.

Delivery, access, responsibilities for platform accounts and post-delivery follow-up are topics to address explicitly, depending on the solution chosen.

An app or a mobile-friendly website?

An app is not always necessary. If the need is mainly to present a business, browse a catalogue or send a request, a well-designed mobile-friendly website may be enough.

I also offer brochure website design and e-commerce websites, so you can choose a solution that fits the intended use.

Your questions

Can you give a price based on an idea?

An idea is enough to start the conversation. A usable estimate requires the journeys, features, platforms and integrations to be specified.

What should be planned after delivery?

Maintenance needs, future changes and each party’s responsibilities must be specified according to the solution chosen. They are not automatically covered by the initial development.
